Is the buoyant force acting on the lead object >,<,= buoyant force acting on the iron object of the same volume as the lead object?

Expert Answer
Since the density of lead > density of iron, the lead object displaces lesser amount of water than the iron object of the same volume. Thus, the buoyant force acting on the lead object is lesser than the buoyant force acting on the iron object.
