- Ovulation: Ovulation is when a mature egg is released from the ovary.
- Fertilization: Fertilisation is the fusion of sperm and egg to form a new organism of the same species.
- Implantation: Implantation is the stage of pregnancy at which the embryo adheres to the wall of the uterus.
- Embryogenesis: Embryogenesis refers to the development and formation of the human embryo through the process of cell division and cellular differentiation.
- Parturition: Parturition is the process of delivering the baby and placenta from the uterus to the vagina to the outside world.
- Pregnancy: Pregnancy is the time during which one or more offspring develops inside a woman.
