  1. Evaporation: It is a process by which water is heated and enters into the atmosphere in the form of water vapour.
  2. Condensation: It is a process by which the water vapour gets converted into tiny droplets of water or ice.
  3. Humidity: The amount of water vapour present in atmosphere is known as humidity.
  4. Latent Heat: It is the hidden heat which changes solids into liquids, without a change in the temperature.
  5. Precipitation: The process by which condensed water vapour falls on the surface of the Earth in various forms like rainfall, snowfall, hail etc.
