In plural sense, statistics refers to information in terms of numbers or numerical data.
Characteristics of statistics in the plural sense are:
1. It is an aggregate of facts.
2. It is numerically expressed
3. A reasonable degree of accuracy must be kept while collecting data.
4. Statistical data is not affected by one factor but many factors.
5.Statistical data must be collected in a systematic manner with a proper plan before starting the data collection process.
