The linear momentum of a body is defined as the product of its mass and linear velocity. If m is the mass of the body and v is the velocity, then
Linear momentu, p = mv
The angular momentum is the rotational analogy to linear momentum.
Angular momentum is equal to the product of the moment of inertia and angular velocity Iω
