In India, the problem of umployment among the educated people is a growing problem and the principal factor is the defective education system.
- Inspite of the increase in educational institutions the number of educated persons have increased however the education system in India is not job oriented it is largely degree and marks oriented.
- As a result, students are more focussed on achieveing higher marks and more degrees rather than adopting employable skills and training that will open a wide range of employment opportunities.
- Due to the mismatch between the employment opportunities and the number of educated people, the resultant increase in educated umemployment in the country has become a proble.
