Convex and concave lenses of same mass and radius rotate about an axis passing through their centre and perpendicular to the plane. Which one will have greater moment of inertia?

Expert Answer
The concave lens is thin at the centre and thick at the edges. As, more mass is concentrated away from the axis of rotation in case of concave lens, it will have more moment of inertia.
