CONSTRUCT a triangle ABC in which bc=5 cm, angleb=75% and  AB+AC=9 CM

Step-1 : Draw a line BC = 5 cm. Using Protractor, mark angle 75° at B.
 
Step-2 : Draw a line BD = 9cm  so that begin mathsize 12px style angle end styleDBC = 75°.  Join CD.  Draw a perpendicular bisector to line segment CD.
                Let this perpendicular bisector meet BD and CD at A and E respectively
 
Step-3 : Join AC . ΔABC is constructed as per the requirement.
 
Proof:- Δ AEC and ΔAED are congruent. Hence AC = AD.  But as per construction AB+AD = 9 cm.  Hence AB+AC = 9 cm
