CO2 is a gas. Write its any two gaseous properties to justify it. How can we liquefy this gas? Solid CO2 is also known as dry ice. Why?

CO2 has neither fixed volume nor a fixed shape and is hence a gas. It exerts pressure due to collision of the molecules.

CO2 may be liquefied by reducing temperature or by increasing pressure.

Solid CO2 gets converted directly into gaseous state without coming into liquid state and is hence called dry ice.
