Check if the relation R on the set of reals defined as R={(x,y):x <=y2} is reflexive symmetric and transitive

R={(x,y):x ≤y2}
First we check it for reflexive
then (a, a) where a ≤ a2
Check for some values of x such as x = 1, 2, 1/2, 1/4 etc
Only for x = 1 and 2 its satisfies.
Hence, the given relation is not reflexive.
Similarly you can check it for symmetric and transitive.
The given relation is not reflexive, not symmetric and not transitive.
