Rahims cash book showed a debit balance of rupees 88000 on 31st December 2015 on examining the entries with the passbook it was found that A.two cheques issued to Shriram on 22 .12 . 2015 - 14 rupees 8000 and another for rupees 6000. Check for rupees 6000 was cash only on 2.1 .2016 B. Three checks amounting to rupees 3000 4000 and 5000 deposited into bank for collection on 26. 12 .2015 on 31.12.2015 check for rupees 4000 was only cleared and credited. C.there was credit in Passbook for rupees 750 towards interest on investment D. Bank had debited a sum of rupees 150 towards ATM charges but no entries were made in the cash book E. cheque received from Ms archana for rupees 2500 entered in the cash book but omitted to be deposited into bank for collection. F. Banker had wrongly credited sum of rupees 500 relating to some other account was found in the passbook.

On 31st December, 2015 the passbook of Ms. Shetty shows a credit balance of Rs.5,845. Cheques of Rs.1,450 were sent to the bank; of which only Rs.790 was collected and credited. Two cheques drawn for Rs.500 and Rs.100, respectively, were not presented for payment till 31st January 2004. Bank has paid a bill payable amounting to Rs.1,000 but it has not been entered in the cash book and a bill receivable of Rs.500 which was discounted with the bank was dishonoured. The bank has charged Rs.50 as its commission for collecting cheques and has allowed interest Rs.650 on the balance. Prepare a bank reconciliation statement and show the balance as per the cash book.

Bank credited Rs.3,800 for interest collected by them, but the amount is not entered in the cash book Rs.7,400 was paid in by M/s Shah and Sons by cheques on March, 31; of which cheques amounting to Rs.1,800 were collected in April A cheque of Rs.780 credited in the pass book on March 28 was dishonoured. There was no entry in the cash book about the dishonour of the cheque until April. Prepare bank reconciliation statement on March 31, 2016.
