Can you give me some common exceptions of overvoltage.(other than electrolysis NaCl)

Overvoltage is a phenomenon which occurs in a circuit when the upper limit of the voltage for which the circuit is designed is exceeded by the supply line.
The nature of the overvoltage depends on its frequency.
Transient overvoltage is a periodic occurrence of overvoltage in the circuit whereas overvoltage surge is a single event in a circuit wherein the supply voltage exceeds the designed voltage limit of that circuit.
