Can i generate magnetic field withoud magnet ?

Yes.When an electric current is passed through a conducting wire, a magnetic field is produced around it.
i.e. a current (moving charge ) carrying conductor produces a magnetic field around it and a magnetic needle in this magnetic field experiences a torque which causes it to deflect and align itself in the direction of magnetic field.
eg : A steel or an iron core with an electric current running through a coil surrounding the core will produce a magnetic field, (an electromagnet).
An electromagnet is an artificial magnet.The magnetism lasts as long as the current keeps passing through it.
