can cyano bacteria change their body color other than red?

Cyanobacteria contain only one form of chlorophyll, i.e., chlorophyll a, which is a green pigment. In addition, they contain various yellowish carotenoids, the blue pigment phycobilin, and, in some species, the red pigment phycoerythrin. The combination of phycobilin and chlorophyll produces the characteristic blue-green colour. Different species of cyanobacteria differ in their ratios of phyocyanin and phycoerythrin. It is because of these other pigments, many species are actually green, brown, yellow, black, or red.
