Here from the given information of SP and Loss%, find out the CP.
 
Use the following formulae.
 
CP = open parentheses fraction numerator 100 over denominator 100 minus L percent sign end fraction close parentheses x SP
 
 
Once the CP is found.
To get a gain or profit of 12%, use the below formula,

SP = open parentheses fraction numerator 100 space plus space straight P percent sign over denominator 100 end fraction close parentheses x CP
