Expert Answer
Let d km is the distance between A and B.
time taken to travel from A to B = d/20 hr
time taken to travel from B to A = d/30 hr
total time = (d/20) + (d/30) = ( 5d/60 ) hr
total distance = 2d km
average speed = 2d/ (5d/60) = 24 km/hr
