between cuckoo and crow, which bird is parasitic?
There are some parasites found in birds. They are called brood parasites. Parasitic birds lay their eggs in the nests of other birds for incubation, hatching and rearing of young ones.
For example, cuckoo is a parasite that lays its eggs in crow’s nest. The eggs of the cuckoo (brood parasite) resemble the eggs of the crow (host) in size and colour and the crow (host bird) is not able to detect the foreign eggs.
