Are there any other differences between mixed-cropping and inter-cropping other than the definite and indefinite pattern between them? If yes, then what are they?

  Mixed Cropping Intercropping
1 It minimizes the risk of crop failure Here the target is to increase productivity per unit area
2 Seeds of the two crops are mixed before sowing Here the seeds of the two crops are not mixed
3 Here there is difficulty of fertilizer and pesticide application to individual crops Here fertilizers and pesticides can be applied to individual crops according to their need.
4 Here there is no set pattern of rows of crops There is a set pattern of rows of crops
5 Harvesting and threshing of crops separately is not possible Harvesting and threshing of crops is possible separately
