Are B-lymphocytes and T-lymphocytes present in the blood also? Or are they present only in lymphoid organs? If they are present only in lymphoid organs and lymphoid tissues, then how are the antibodies produced by B - lymphocytes present in the blood? Does it secrete antibodies into the blood?

T cells (thymus cells) and B cells (bone marrow cells) are the major cellular components of the adaptive immune response. T cells are involved in cell-mediated immunity, whereas B cells are primarily responsible for humoral immunity (relating to antibodies).

A young B-cell, called a naive B-cell, circulates in the bloodstream, usually ending up in the spleen or lymph nodes. These settle down mostly in the spleen and lymph nodes to pump out antibodies. Some of the activated B-cells become memory B-cells, which have very long lives in the bone marrow, lymph nodes and spleen.
