The required ray diagrams for the two cases are as shown below:

Similarity:

(i) The image formed is a magnified one in both the cases.

Dissimilarity:

(i) The image formed is a virtual one in the first case and a real one in the second case.

(ii) The image formed is an erect one in the first case and an inverted one in the second case.
