when the object of mass is at a height x, potential energy (P.E.) = mgx Joules, kinetic energy (K.E.) = 0
and total energy = mgx Joules
when the object of mass is at a height (x/2), potential energy (P.E.) = mg(x/2) Joules, kinetic energy (K.E.) = mg(x/2) Joules
and total energy = mgx Joules
