Expert Answer
Let original weekly wage = Rs. x
Original wage bill = Rs. 3150.
Hence No.of employees = (3150/x)
increased weekly wage = Rs.(x+5)
increased wage bill = (increased weekly wage)×(No. of employees) = (x+5)(3150/x) = Rs.3250 ...............(1)
Eqn.(1) is wriiten as : 3150(x+5) = 3250x or 100x = 15750 or x = Rs 157.50
