All industries need a good network of transport. It is because modes of transport help in transporting raw materials to the industrial location. Similarly, finished goods are transported by road, railways and waterways to various market places. For example, coal from Bokaro and Jharia coal fields is transported to Bhilai Iron and steel plant by various means of transport.
