Let Ajit and kunal paid 5x/7 and 2x/7 of total cost of a book of comics.
The book cost 84.
Hence,
5x/7 + 2x/7 = 84
x = Rs. 84
Ajit paid 5/7 × 84 = Rs. 60
Kunal paid 2/7 × 84 = Rs. 24
