For adding these two fractions, we first need to convert them into like fractions (fractions with same denominator)
Multiplying and dividing 2/9 by 10 and 1/10 by 9

2 over 9 equals 2 over 9 cross times 10 over 10 equals 20 over 90 1 over 10 equals 1 over 10 cross times 9 over 9 equals 9 over 90 2 over 9 plus 1 over 10 equals 20 over 90 plus 9 over 90 equals fraction numerator 20 plus 9 over denominator 90 end fraction equals 29 over 90
