ACID AND WATER ARE IN THE RATIO OF 3:2 TO MAKE 100 LITRE MIXTURE.

begin mathsize 16px style Quantity space of space Acid space equals space 3 over 5 cross times 100 space equals space 60 Quantity space of space Water space equals space 2 over 5 cross times 100 space equals space 40 end style
Lets remove x litres of mixture and add x litre of acid.
So the final acid quantity =begin mathsize 16px style 60 space minus space 3 over 5 straight x space plus space straight x end style
and the final water quantity = Error converting from MathML to accessible text.

Now we have to find the quantity of Acid to change the ratio 3:1.
