CBSE Class 9 Answered

According to the law of gravitation every particle in this universe attracts every other particle. In matter every particle attracts every other particle with intramolecular force of attraction. Is this attraction between particles of matter due to gravitation? If not then why attraction between particles of matter takes place?

Yes every particle which has mass attract every other particle.  This can be observe with large as sun and moon and micro it can go up to subatomic particle.  But sometime this gravitational force is get neglected due to some other force. Gravitational force magnitude is less than all other forces like in atom gravitational force between proton and electrons gets dominated by electrostatic forces but gravitational force is still there but its get neglected due to its low magnitude compare to electrostatic force. But molecular lever attraction particle cannot be understood just on the basis of this force . There are lot of different things happening between molecular particle.
