Acc to my book,there is geotropism which has been replaced by gravitropism in your M.C.Q's.
So my question is what is positive and negative tropism?

Gravitropism is another terms used for geotropism.
Positive gravitropism/geotropism – The growth of plants towards the gravity that is the growth of roots.
Negative gravitropism/geotropism – the growth of the plants against the gravity.
