abc is isoscelles triangle,ac=bc.if ab*ab=2(ac*ac), prove that abc is right triangle?
It is given that ab*ab = 2(ac*ac)
ab*ab = (ac*ac) + (ac*ac)
ab*ab = (ac*ac) + (bc*bc) (since, ac = bc)
Thus, ABC is a right angled triangle. (by pythagoras theorem)
