(a) Test cross will be performed to know the genotype of the given tall pea plants with yellow seeds.

If all the plants of the F₁ generation are tall with yellow seeds, then the parent is homozygous dominant (Case i). If the plants in the F₁ generation are in the ratio 1:1:1:1, then the parent plant is heterozygous dominant.
