Expert Answer
(a) Water molecules are at rest inside the clothes. When we shake the clothes, water gets removed due to inertia of rest and the wet clothes dry quickly.
(b) Fruits are at rest on the branches. When the branches shake due to strong winds, fruits tend to remain in state of rest due to inertia and they fall off the branches.
