(a) Self-pollination and Cross-pollination are the two types of pollination.

(b) Self-pollination can occur in bisexual, monoecious, homogamous and cleistogamous flowers.

(c) Cleistogamy is a technique to promote self-pollination. In this case, the flowers do not open and the anthers and the stigma lie close to each other, which mature at the same time, therby ensuring self-pollination.
