Expert Answer
let 10th place digit ix x, then unit place digit will ve 6/x because product of two digits are 6
hence the number : 10x + (6/x)
given : if 9 is added to the number, then unit place and tenth place digits are inter changed
Hence 10x +(6/x) + 9 = (60/x) + x
if we multiply all the terms of above eqn. by x and simplify we get, x2 +x -6 = 0 or (x+3)(x-2) = 0
hence x=2 is acceptable solution, then the digits are 2 and 3. The number is 23
