a tuning fork of freequency 340hz is vibrated just above a cylindrical tube of length 120cm. water is slowly poured in the tube. if the speed of sound is 340m/s then the minimum height of water required for resonance is?

n1=v/4l
l=340/4*340
  =25 cm
next 75 cm,125cm....
so 75 cm air column value is for resonance.
so water column will be of =120-75=45 cm.
