A proton is moving in the horizontal plane towards South in a uniform magnetic field acting vertically upwards . What  is the direction of the magnetic force on the proton

Mmagnetic force will act along west direction on the proton. This can be found using flemings left hand rule. Current(movement of proton) is along south direction and magnetic field is along upward so the force is along west direction.
