A Problem from 'Laws Of Motion'-
Six astronauts are falling from space by forming a circle.They each have a bag on their back which contains a ball.What happens when each one throws the ball to the one diametrically opposite to him?(I can't understand 'what happens' in the question means,So please the answer)

It is nice to see you again with such an interesting query!
  • The term ' what happens' in this question is actually trying to ask you the effect of this event, i.e the throwing of the balls by the astronauts towards diametrically opposite astronauts at the same time.
  • The answer to which is due to Newton's third law of motion, the action of throwing a ball will have an equal in magnitude and opposite in direction reaction on every astronaut's position.
  • Therefore, gradually the circle in which the astronauts are aligned will get enlarged with every instance of throwing the ball.
