Force = mass × acceleration
acceleration a is obtained from equation, " v = u+a×t ", where v is final velocity, u is initial velocity.
since the vehicle starts from rest, we have u =0 and v = 27 m/s
acceleration a = 27/5.8 = 4.66 m/s2
force = 1400×4.66 = 6517 N
direction is same as the direction of acceleration, due north
