Expert Answer
The electric flux diverging through a closed surface is given from the Gauss' law as
We can see that the flux is independent of the radius of the closed surface. Hence, when a sphere is considered
it does not matter what the radius is, if the charge enclosed is same, then the flux through the spherical shell
of radius 1 m will also be 2×103 Nm2/C.
