Wavelenghth of absorbed photon, λ = 300 nm
 
Wavelenghth of re-emitted photon, λ1 = 496 nm
 
Wavelenghth of re-emitted photon, λ2 =  x nm
 
We know,
 
ETotal = E1 + E
 
straight E space equals hc over straight lambda

hc over straight lambda subscript space equals hc over straight lambda subscript 1 plus hc over straight lambda subscript 2

1 over straight lambda space equals space 1 over straight lambda subscript 1 plus 1 over straight lambda subscript 2

1 over 300 equals 1 over 496 plus 1 over straight lambda subscript 2

1 over straight lambda subscript 2 space equals 1 over 300 minus 1 over 496

1 over straight lambda subscript 2 space equals 0.00131

straight lambda subscript 2 space equals 759.18 space nm
 
Wavelength of the other photon is 759.18 nm
