Expert Answer
Annual Dividend in 20% Rs. 50 shares=20/100*Rs.50=Rs.10
Annual dividend in 10% Rs. 100 shares=10/100*Rs. 100=Rs. 10
The annual income are same in both the case.
.·. the annual income in each investment is Rs. 9200/2=Rs. 4600.
Income is Rs. 10 when investment is Rs. 60
Hence, income is Rs 4600 when investment is Rs.60/Rs.10*Rs.4600=Rs. 27600
Again, Income is10 when investment is Rs. 110
Hence, income is Rs. 4600 when investment is Rs. 110/Rs.10*Rs.4600=Rs.50600
1. Total savings is Rs. (27600+50600)= Rs. 78200
2. No. of Rs. 50 shares= 27600/60=460
3. No. of Rs. 100 shares= 50600/110=460
