A particle is moving along northward direction with velocity V and changes its direction after certain time and move towards east with same speed. Find change in its velocity.

There isnt any change in the magnitude of the velocity just its direction changes by 90 degree.
Let the particle to move in possitive y direction and after change in elocity its direction will be in positive x direction
Thus using cartision coordinate system,
initial velocity, u = V j
final velocity, v = V i
change in velocity= v-u = V(i-j)
