(a) The uses of total reflecting prism are:
- To turn a ray through 90°
- An erect image of an inverted image can be obtained
- In bicycle reflector
- Porro prism
(b)Advantages:
- Total reflection of light unlike other mirror
- High quality images can be produced
- No changes of forming multiple images as in the case of a plane mirror.
