A gold pendant weighs 5.4grams and contains 4.85 of gold by weight.what is the carat of this gold?

Ratio of gold mass to total total mass is 4.85/5.4 =0.89815
Now multiplying this with 24 
Carat of the pendant = 24×0.89815 = 21.556 carat
