A force of 20 N acts on a body of mass 10kg at rest for 10seconds .Calculate the velocity acquired and the distance travelled by the body during this interval.

Dear student,
 
Force = massX acceleration
 
20 = 10 Xa, a = 2m/s^2
 
acceleration = velocity/time
 
2 = v/10, v= 20 m/s
 
v = D/t =
 
20 = D/10, D = 200m
