a force applied on a bodu of 1.2kg for0.2 s and the body travelled a distance of 2m in the round. Find the force applied on the body.

Expert Answer
We have the equation for distance travelled, S = ut+(1/2)at2 ..................(1)
where u is initial speed which is zero for this question because initially the body is at rest, a is acceleration and t is time.
hence 2 = (1/2)a×0.2×0.2 or acceleration a = 100 m/s2
force = mass×acceleration = 1.2×100 = 120 N
