(a)

(i) Rigidity - It is the property of the solids to maintain shape even when they are subjected to external force.

(ii) Diffusion- Intermixing of particles of two different types of matter on their own is called diffusion.

(iii) Compressibility - It is the property of a matter by virtue of which large volume of matter can be compressed into a vessel of comparatively volume.

(b) Rigidity - Gas < Liquid < Solid

Diffusion - Solid < Liquid < Gas

Compressibility - Solid < Liquid < Gas

(c) Smell of perfume/aroma of food spreading in room is an example of diffusion of gases.
