A cylindrical can whose diameter equals to its height contains 269.5 cm3 of a liquid. Calculate the radius and height of the cone.

Given: Volume of the can (V) = 269.5 cm3

Let Diameter = height = 2 x

⇒ Radius = x

Let V denote the volume of the cylindrical can.

     

Thus, radius= 3.5 cm and height= 2 x= 7 cm
