A cuboidal tank is 30 cm long 30 cm wide and 1 m 60 cm high.It has water up to  height of 40 cm.how much cu cm of water can the to contain?

Answer:
Length of the tank = 30 cm
Width of the tank = 30 cm
Height of the tank = 160 cm
Capacity of the tank = 30 x 30 x 160 = 144000 cm3
Volume of water present in tha tank = 30 x 30 x 40 = 36000 cm3
Therefore, the tank can contain 144000 - 36000 = 108000 cm3 of more water.
