First we need to calculate retardation of the ball using the formula " v = u - a×t ",
with final speed v = 0 and initial speed u = 30 m/s.
 
retardation a = u/t = 30/0.03 = 1000 m/s
 
force = mass×retardation = 0.1×1000 = 100 N
