A conical vessel has diameter 10 cm and height 21 cm. Calculate the volume of 10 such vessels.

Given:  Diameter = 10 cm

Radius (r) = 5 cm, height (h) = 21 cm

Let V be its volume.

begin mathsize 12px style straight V space equals space 1 third πr squared straight h straight V space equals space 1 third cross times 22 over 7 cross times 5 cross times 5 cross times 21 straight V space equals space 550 space cm cubed end style

begin mathsize 12px style Volume space of space 10 space such space cones space is space given space by space 10 cross times 550 space cm to the power of 3 space end exponent space equals space 5500 space cm cubed end style
